KODAIKKANAL A sleepy, beautiful hill station situated in the Palani Hills, 120 km from Madurai, is Kodaikkanal. It has a star-shaped, man-made lake called Kodai lake. Kodai has an observatory from where one can observe the stars. Vaigai dam, Shola Falls, Silver Cascade (8 km) Kumbakkarai Falls (65 km), Berijam lake (21 km), Perumal peak, Kukkal Caves (40 km), and Dolmen's Circle (22 km) are some of the sites that may be visited. Palani temple (44 km) is a pilgrimage center. It is one of the six abodes of Lord Subramanya.

Kodaikkanal is 120 km from Madurai. It is well-connected by road to
all places.
