Under the influence of a western disturbance, currently
lying over Jammu & Kashmir and neighbourhood, isolated
to scattered rain/thundershowers are likely over western
Himalaya during the next 48 hours. Isolated rain/thundershowers
are also likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and
Delhi, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh on 20th. Another
western disturbance is likely to affect northwest
India during 21st to 23rd. The maximum temperatures
are above normal by 4-6°C over north Rajasthan and
western Himalayan region and by 1-3°C over the remaining
parts of the country. The minimum temperatures are
above normal by 3-4°C over parts of western Himalayan
region and west India. The meteorological conditions
suggest fall in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C over
northwest India and Rajasthan during next 48 hours.
OUTLOOK
(Mar 22-Mar 24): Isolated to scattered rain/thundershowers
are likely over Rajasthan, northwest, east and northeast
India.
