A western disturbance
lies over Jammu & Kashmir and neighbourhood, under its influence isolated to scattered
rain/thundershowers is likely over northwest India during next 48 hours. The maximum
temperatures are near normal over most parts of the country and the minimum temperatures
are above normal by 2-50 deg C over parts of northwest and central India. Current
meteorological analysis suggests that fall in maximum temperatures on 25th & 26th
by 2-40 deg C over northwest India during the next 2-3 days. OUTLOOK
(Mar 27-Mar 29): A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayan
region and adjoining plains of northwest India. Isolated to scattered rain/thundershowers
activity is likely over northeastern states.
