Two fresh western disturbances are likely to affect
the western Himalayan region in quick succession during
19th to 23rd. Isolated rain/thundershowers are also
likely over Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan from 20th
onwards. The maximum temperatures are above normal
by 4 to 6°C over western Himalayan region and west
Rajasthan and by 2 to 3°C over Indo-Gangetic plains
and central India. The minimum temperatures are above
normal by 2 to 3°C over parts of west India. The prevailing
meteorological conditions suggest a rise of about
2°C in temperatures over west and central India during
the next 3 days.
OUTLOOK
(Mar 20-Mar 22): Isolated to scattered rain/thundershowers
are likely over northwest India and northeastern States.
