Interpretation
of numerical weather prediction models indicates that
a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect northwest
India from 3rd February onwards. Current meteorological
conditions suggest that minimum temperatures are likely
to fall by 2-3°C during the next 48 hours. Mainly
dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of
the country during the next 2-3 days.
OUTLOOK
(Feb 3-Feb 5): Isolated to scattered precipitation
is likely to commence over western Himalayan region.
Increase in minimum temperature by 2-4 °C is likely
over northwest India.
