During
the past 24 hours, minimum temperatures have fallen
by 1-2° C over northern plains and parts of east India.
Current meteorological conditions suggest that no
significant change in minimum temperatures is likely
during the next 24 hours. However, they are likely
to fall by 2-3°C on 1st -2nd February. Minimum temperatures
are above normal by 2-5°C over central India. They
are also likely to fall by 2-3°C during the next 3
days. Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail over
most parts of the country during the next 3 days.
OUTLOOK
(Feb 2-Feb 4): A fresh western disturbance is likely
to affect western Himalayan region from the 4th February
onwards. Increase in minimum temperature by 2-4 °C
is likely over northwest India.
