January 29, 2009
Weather
forecast valid for next 3 days
A
feeble western disturbance as an upper air system
is moving across western Himalayan region and it will
cause isolated precipitation over Jammu & Kashmir
during the next 48 hours. During past 24 hours the
minimum temperatures have fallen by about 2-3°C over
Indo-Gangetic plains and are now near normal. The
current meteorological conditions suggest no significant
change in minimum temperature over Indo-Gengetic plains
during the next 48 hours. Mainly dry weather is likely
to prevail over most parts of the country during the
next 3 days.
OUTLOOK
(Feb 1-Feb 3): Mainly dry weather is likely over many
parts of the country. A fresh western disturbance
