Under the influence of the western disturbance, fairly
widespread precipitation activity with isolated heavy
falls is likely over western Himalayan region during
the next 24 hours. Isolated to scattered rain/thundershower
is also likely over parts of the plains of northwest
India during the period. Minimum temperatures are
above normal by 5-9° C over most parts of Rajasthan,
west Madhya Pradesh and by 3-5°C over the plains of
northwest India and east Madhya Pradesh. Current meteorological
analysis suggests that they are likely to fall after
24 hours.
OUTLOOK
(Jan 21-Jan 23): Fall in minimum temperatures over
northwest India and adjoining areas of east and central
India.
