Under the influence of a western disturbance isolated
to scattered precipitation activity is likely over
parts of western Himalayan region during the next
48 hours and fairly widespread thereafter till 18th.
Isolated to scattered rain/thundershower is also likely
over the plains of northwest India from the 16th onwards.
Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-4° C over
northwest and adjoining central India. They are likely
to increase further by 3-4 °C over northwest India
in the next 3 days .
OUTLOOK
(Jan 17-Jan 19): Fairly widespread precipitation with
isolated heavy falls is likely over western Himalayan
region. Isolated to scattered rain/thundershowers
is likely over parts of plains of northwest India.
