Minimum temperatures are above normal by 4-7°C over
parts of central India and east Rajasthan and by 2-3°C
over parts of plains of northwest India. Current meteorological
analysis suggests that they are likely to fall by
2-3°C in the next 2-3 days. A western disturbance
is likely to affect western Himalayan region from
the 13th onwards. Rise in minimum temperature is also
likely over northwest India from the 13th onwards.
The lowest minimum temperature of 3.3°C was recorded
at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).
OUTLOOK
(Jan 13-Jan 15): Isolated rain/snow is likely over
western Himalayan region.
