fresh western disturbance is likely to affect western
Himalayan region during 13th-14th. The minimum temperatures
are above normal by 4-7°C over east Madhya Pradesh,
east Uttar Pradesh and by 2-3° C over parts of west
Madhya Pradesh and Orissa. They are 1-2°C above normal
over parts of northwest India and north Rajasthan.
Meteorological analysis and numerical weather prediction
models suggest that the minimum temperatures are likely
to fall by 2-3°C during the next 48 hours and increase
by 2-3°C thereafter over northwest, central and east
India.
OUTLOOK
(Feb 13-Feb 15): Scattered precipitation is likely
over western Himalayan region. Rise in minimum temperature
by 2-3°C over northwest India.
