The
deep depression over interior Tamil Nadu moved slightly
northwestwards and weakened into a depression at 1730
hrs IST of 27 November and lay over interior Tamil
Nadu about 50 km southeast of Dharampuri. The system
further weakened into a well marked low pressure area
and lies over interior Tamil Nadu and adjoining Rayalseema
and interior Karnataka at 0530 hrs IST on 28 November
2008. Under its influence, rainfall at most places
with heavy to very heavy falls at a few places is
likely over north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, south
interior Karnataka and Rayalseema during the next
24 hours. Rainfall at many places with isolated heavy
to very heavy falls is also likely over south coastal
Andhra Pradesh and isolated heavy falls over Kerala
and south Tamil Nadu during the same period. The minimum
temperatures are above normal by 3-4 deg C over northwest
Rajasthan and adjoining northwest Madhya Pradesh and
2-3 deg C above normal over south Andhra Pradesh,
south interior Karnataka and Gujarat.
WARNING:
Heavy to very heavy rainfalls at a few places over
north Tamil Nadu , Puducherry, south interior Karnataka
and Rayalseema during the next 24 hrs. Isolated heavy
to very heavy rainfall is also likely over Kerala,
south Tamil Nadu, south Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep
during the period.
OUTLOOK
