Numerical weather prediction models suggest that the
easterly wave is likely to cause scattered to fairly
widespread rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy
rainfall over parts of south peninsular India during
the next 2-3 days. Minimum temperatures have fallen
by 3-6 deg C over central India, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand
and Bihar. However, minimum temperatures are above
normal by 4-7 deg C over Maharashtra and north Orissa.
They are below normal by 2-3 deg C over Gujarat, east
Rajasthan. Minimum temperatures are likely to fall
further by 2-3 deg C over central India and adjoining
northwest and east India during the next 2-3 days.

Low pressure area is likely to form over southeast
Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood around the 26th. Scattered
to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy
rainfall is likely over Andaman & Nicobar islands
and Lakshadweep.
