A feeble western disturbance as an upper air system
is likely to affect Jammu & Kashmir during the next
3-4days. Minimum temperatures are below normal by
2-3°C over parts of Punjab, Haryana, central and east
India and Gujarat region. Current meteorological analysis
suggests that no significant change in the minimum
temperatures is likely during the next 2 – 3 days.
Fog conditions prevailed over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar
Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and parts of Gujarat. The
lowest minimum temperature of 1.8°C was recorded at
Amritsar (Punjab) in the plains of the country.
OUTLOOK
(Dec 30-Jan 1): Mainly dry weather conditions are
likely to prevail over most parts of the country .
Slight fall in minimum temperatures is likely over
northwest, west and adjoining central India.
