Weather
Report & Forecast
(Indicating regional changes)
December 22-23, 2008
Weather
forecast valid for next 3 days
As predicted, the western disturbance which was affecting
the western Himalayan region and adjoining plains
for the last 3-4 days has moved away eastwards. Consequently,
minimum temperatures have fallen by 3-6 deg C over
northwest India and Rajasthan during the past 24 hours.
The current meteorological analysis suggests that
minimum temperatures are likely to fall further by
2-4 deg C over northwest India during the next 48
hours and these may become near normal over the region.
Fog is prevailing over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar,
Jharkhand, West Bengal, north Orissa and northeastern
states.
OUTLOOK
(Dec 25-Dec 27): Mainly dry weather conditions are
likely to prevail over most parts of the country.
