The western disturbance as an upper air system over
Jammu & Kashmir is moving away eastwards. The minimum
temperatures have fallen by 2-5° C over parts of northwest
and central India during past 24 hours. However, they
are still above normal by 3-5° C over parts of northwest
India and Central India. Minimum temperatures are
likely to fall further by 2-3° C over these regions.
Current meteorological analysis suggests subdued rainfall
activity over south peninsula during the next 5 days.
The low pressure area over southeast Arabian Sea and
neighbourhood persists.
