      Morning’s low pressure area over southeast Arabian Sea and neighbourhood persists. Under its influence, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall activity is likely over Lakshadweep during next 24 hours and decrease thereafter. · Current Meteorological analysis suggests subdued rainfall activity over south peninsula during next 5 days. · The western disturbance as an upper air system over Jammu & Kashmir and neighbourhood persists. It is likely to move away eastward by tomorrow. Under its influence, scattered precipitation is likely over western Himalayan region during next 24 hours. · The minimum temperatures have fallen by 4-6° C during past 24 hours over north Rajasthan and 2-4° C over south Rajasthan, Gujarat and parts of Punjab. With the eastward movement of western disturbance, the minimum temperatures are likely to fall further by 2-4° C over parts of northwest and central India from tomorrow onwards.

OUTLOOK (Dec 14-Dec 16):  The subdued rainfall activity is likely to continue over peninsular India. A fresh western disturbance is likely to approach and cause scattered precipitation activity over northwest India and also rise in minimum temperature.
