     Meteorological analysis and numerical weather prediction models suggest formation of a low pressure area over southeast Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours and likely westward movement. Partly cloudy condition over parts of the country have caused rise in minimum temperatures, these are above normal by 3-5 deg C over many parts of the country except parts of northeastern states, east and north India. The minimum temperatures are likely become normal during the next 2-3 days.

Warning: Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Andaman & Nicobar Islands during the next 48 hours.

OUTLOOK (Dec 5-Dec 7): Scattered rainfall activity over south peninsula and fairly widespread rainfall activity over Andaman & Nicobar Islands are likely to occur. A western disturbance likely to affect northwest India .
