Yesterday’s cyclonic circulation over Comorin area
and neighbourhood now lies over southeast Arabian
sea and neighbourhood and extends upto mid-tropospheric
level. A low pressure area is likely to form over
southeast and adjoining east central Arabian sea during
the next 2 – 3 days. Under this scenario scattered
to fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated
heavy falls is likely over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, coastal
and south interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, south coastal
Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep during the next 3-5
days.
