A western disturbance is likely to affect Jammu &
Kashmir and western Himalayan region during the next
48 hours. The cyclonic circulation over southwest
Bay of Bengal now lies over Comorin area and neighbourhood
and extends upto mid-tropospheric level. Under its
influence, fairly widespread rainfall activities with
isolated heavy falls are likely over Tamilnadu, Kerala,
south interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, south coastal
Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep during the next 48
hours. The maximum temperature has fallen by 2-4°
C over Konkan and Goa during the past 24 hours. The
minimum temperature has also fallen by 2-4° C over
Konkan and Goa and by 2-3° C over the central parts
of the country.
WARNING
(Next 48 hours): Isolated heavy rainfall is likely
over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
