southwest monsoon has further withdrawn from northeastern
states, north Bay of Bengal, some parts of central
Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of Orissa and Chhattisgarh,
some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telengana
and some more parts of Maharashtra and the Arabian
sea. The southwest monsoon withdrawal line passes
through 18.00 N/94.00 E, 18.00 N/88.00 E,Visakhapattanam,
Hyderabad, Ratnagiri, 17.00 N/65.00 E and 17.00 N/60.00
E. Enhanced rainfall activity is likely over extreme
south peninsular India during the next 2-3 days. Northeast
monsoon onset is also likely over south peninsula
during the next 2-3 days.
WARNING
(Next 48 hours): Isolated heavy rainfall is likely
over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
