The upper air cyclonic circulation over north Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood
now lies over northwest Madhya Pradesh. Under this scenario fairly widespread
rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls is likely over Madhya Pradesh, east
& southwest Rajasthan and Gujarat during the next 48 hours. An off-shore trough
extends from Maharashtra coast to Kerala coast. Under its influence fairly widespread
rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Konkan,
Goa and coastal Karnataka during the next 2-3 days. Rain/thundershowers
are likely at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab,
Haryana, Delhi, west UP during the next 48 hrs. and increase thereafter. Rain/thundershowers
are likely at many places over the east UP, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal
and Sikkim. Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places over Arunachal Pradesh,
Assam and Meghalaya. Rain/thundershowers are likely at most places over coastal
