The upper air cyclonic circulation over north Chhattisgarh and adjoining east
Madhya Pradesh now lies over north Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood. Under this
scenario fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls is likely
over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during next 48 hours. An off-shore trough
extends from Maharashtra coast to Kerala coast. Isolated
rain/thundershowers are likely over J & K, HP, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi,
west UP. Rain/thundershowers are likely at few places over east UP, Jharkhand,
Bhar, Orissa, West Bengal and Sikkim. Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places
over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Rain/thundershowers
are likely at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers are likely
at many places over coastal Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Rain/thundershowers
are likely at a few places over the rest of the region outside Tamil Nadu where
it will be isolated. Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places over Konkan
