The axis of monsoon trough continues to pass through foothills of the Himalayas.
Morning’s cyclonic circulation now lies over Gangetic West Bengal & adjoining
Bihar and extends upto mid-tropospheric level. Consequently, fairly widespread
rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Bihar
and Gangetic West Bengal during next 24 hrs. and decrease thereafter. Fairly widespread
rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely to continue
over northeastern states, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh and
Uttarakhand during next 2-3 days. The off-shore trough at sea level from Karnataka
coast to Kerala coast is likely to cause fairly widespread rainfall with isolated
heavy falls over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during next 3-4 days.
