Morning’s cyclonic circulation now lies over Gangetic West Bengal & adjoining Bihar and extends upto mid-tropospheric level. Consequently, fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Bihar and Gangetic West Bengal during next 24 hrs. and decrease thereafter. Fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely to continue over northeastern states, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand during next 2-3 days. The off-shore trough at sea level from Karnataka coast to Kerala coast is likely to cause fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during next 3-4 days.

         Rain/ thundershowers at many places are likely over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh. Rain/ thundershowers are likely at a few places over Jammu division of Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely over the rest region.
