Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon over remaining
parts of Rajasthan during next 2-3 days. The well marked low pressure area over
north Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal & Bangladesh now
lies over coastal areas of West Bengal and adjoining areas of Orissa, Bangladesh
and northwest Bay of Bengal. Under its influence, fairly widespread rainfall with
isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Gangetic West Bengal and Orissa
during next 48 hours. Subsequently, with the likely northwestwards movement of
the system, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh and Madhya
Pradesh are likely to experience fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy
falls during 11th to 14th July. The upper air cyclonic circulation over West Uttar
Pradesh & adjoining areas persists and extends upto 4.5 km above mean sea level
tilting southwestwards with height. Under its influence fairly widespread rainfall
with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over southwest Uttar Pradesh,
east Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh during the next 2-3 days.

Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, west UP. Rain/ thundershowers are likely
at most places over Gangetic West Bengal and Orissa during the next 48 hours and

rest of the region during the next 48 hours and at many places thereafter. Rain/
thundershowers are likely at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.
