Train catches fire at Allahabad

          Allahabad: A fire broke out in a compartment of a stationary train at the Allahabad railway junction on Monday afternoon. One sleeper bogey was destroyed. No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The train, Nauchandi Express, which came from Saharanpur, was waiting at platform number 8. Deepak Dave, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), said that the fire was extinguished within half an hour. There are no reports of any injuries to passengers or the fire personnel involved in extinguishing the blaze. Initially, there was a fear that it was a terror attack resulting in chaos. But as the blaze was doused, the situation calmed. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
