A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect western
Himalayan region on 16th and 17th. The maximum temperatures
are above normal by 4-7° C over parts of Rajasthan,
northwest and northeast India and by 2-4° C over remaining
parts of the country except Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and
interior south peninsula where they are nearly normal.
The minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-5°
C over parts of east Rajasthan, west and adjoining
central India. They are below normal by 2-4° C over
parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Orissa. The prevailing
meteorological conditions suggest rise of about 2°
C in the temperatures over northwest, west and adjoining
central India during the next 2 days.
OUTLOOK
(Mar 17-Mar 19): Isolated thunderstorm is likely over
northeastern States and sub-Himalayan West Bengal
and Sikkim. Another western disturbance is likely
to affect western Himalayan region from 19th onwards..
