Report & Forecast
(Indicating regional changes)
March 11, 2009
Weather
forecast valid for next 3 days
Trough in easterlies over coastal Tamil Nadu causes
isolated to scattered rainfall activity over Tamil
Nadu and Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 2-3
days. The maximum temperatures were above normal by
3-4 deg C over parts of northwest India, Rajasthan,
Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The current meteorological
analysis suggests that no significant changes in temperatures
are likely over northwest and west India during the
next 3-4 days.
OUTLOOK
(Mar 14-Mar 16): Rise in maximum and minimum temperatures
are likely over most parts of the country.
