         A feeble western disturbance lies over Jammu & Kashmir and neighbourhood likely to cause isolated to scattered rain/snow over western Himalayan region during the next 48 hours. The minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C over parts of northwest, west and central India. The meteorological analysis suggests that a gradual rise in minimum and maximum temperatures is likely over many parts of northwest, west and central India during the next 2-3 days. Strong northwesterly winds are likely to prevail over Indo-Gangetic plains during the next 3-4 days. Another fresh feeble western disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayan region from 22nd.

        OUTLOOK (Feb 23-Feb 25): Scattered rain/snow is likely over western Himalayan region. Isolated to scattered rain/thundershowers are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya
