minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C over
parts of west and central India. They are below normal
by 1-3°C over Indo-Gangetic plains. The meteorological
analysis and numerical weather prediction models suggest
that no significant change in minimum temperatures
is likely over these regions during the next 48 hours
and gradually increase thereafter. A feeble western
disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayan
region from 19th onwards.
OUTLOOK
(Feb 18-Feb 20): Scattered precipitation is likely
over western Himalayan region. Rise in minimum temperature
is likely over northwest and adjoining central India.
