western disturbance lying over north Pakistan and
adjoining Jammu & Kashmir is likely to affect western
Himalayan region during the next 48 hours. The minimum
temperatures are above normal by 4-6°C over west Rajasthan,
Surashtra & Kutch, Jammu & Kashmir and sub-Himalayan
west Bengal and by 2-3° C over parts of east Rajasthan
and northeast India, Gangetic west Bengal and Orissa.
They are below normal by 2-3°C over central India,
Konkan Goa and Tamilnadu coast. Fog conditions prevailed
over parts of Indo- Gangetic plains.
OUTLOOK
(Feb 15-Feb 17): Fall in minimum temperature by 2-4°C
is likely over northwest and central India.
