         A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayan region during 9-11 and adjoining northern plains during 10 to 11 February. The minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C over parts of Uttrakhand, southeast Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, south Chhattisgarh, madhya Maharashtra and interior Karnataka. These are near normal over west Rajasthan and indo-Gangetic plains. The current meteorological analysis and numerical weather prediction models suggest that the minimum temperatures are likely to fall by 1-2°C during the next 24 hours and increase by 2-4°C 12th onwards over northwest and adjoining central India.

          OUTLOOK (Feb 11-Feb 13): Isolated to scattered rain/snow is likely over western Himalayan region till 12th February. Rise in minimum temperature is likely over the plains of northwest India.
