the influence of the western disturbance, fairly widespread
precipitation is likely over western Himalayan region
during the next 2-3 days and isolated rain/thundershowers
are also likely over adjoining plains of northwest
India during the period. The minimum temperatures
are above normal by 3-4°C over west and central India.
Current meteorological analysis and numerical weather
prediction models suggests that the minimum temperatures
are likely to increase by 3-4°C over northwest, west
and adjoining central India during the next 2 days.
OUTLOOK
(Feb 7-Feb 9): A fresh western disturbance is likely
to affect north western India from 9th onwards.
