Current meteorological analysis and numerical weather
prediction models suggest that the easterly wave is
likely to cause scattered to fairly widespread rain/thundershowers
over parts of south peninsular India during the next
4-5 days. Isolated heavy rainfall is also likely over
coastal Tamilnadu during the same period. Minimum
temperatures have fallen by 3-4 deg C over north
Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal.
Minimum temperatures have fallen by 2-3 deg C over
parts of central and adjoining northwest India. The
minimum temperatures are below normal by 2-3 deg C
over parts of east Rajasthan, northwest, central and
east India. No significant change is likely to occur
in minimum temperatures during the next 2-3 days over
these regions.
OUTLOOK

27-Nov 29):
A low pressure area is likely to form over southwest
Bay of Bengal around 27th. Scattered to fairly widespread
rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall is likely over
Andaman & Nicobar islands and peninsular India.
