Minimum temperatures have fallen by 2-4° C over parts
of central and east India. These are 2-3° C below
normal over the parts of central and east India and
near normal over northwest India. Current meteorological
analysis suggest no significant change in the minimum
temperatures during the next 2-3 days· Fog conditions
prevailed over Punjab, parts of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh
and northeastern states. The lowest minimum temperature
of 2.4° C was recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) in the
plains of the country.
OUTLOOK
(Dec 28-Dec 30): A weak western disturbance is likely
to affect Jammu & Kashmir region from 27th onwards.
Mainly dry weather conditions are likely to prevail
over most parts of the country.
