western disturbance as an upper air system lies over
north Pakistan and adjoining northwest Jammu & Kashmir.
Isolated to scattered precipitation over western Himalayan
region is likely to occur during the next 48 hours.
Numerical weather prediction models suggest subdued
rainfall activity over south peninsula during the
next 4-5 days. Morning’s upper air cyclonic circulation
in lower levels over east central Bay of Bengal and
adjoining north Andaman sea persists. Maximum temperatures
are 3-40C above normal over central India and Rajasthan.
WARNING:
Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over
Andaman & Nicobar islands during the next 48 hours.
