Morning’s low pressure area over northeast Arabian Sea off Gujarat coast persists
and become well marked. An off shore trough extends from this system to Kerala
coast. Under this scenario, enhanced rainfall activity likely over west coast
and south Gujarat during next 48 hours. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies
over northwest Bay of Bengal off Orissa coast. The current meteorological analysis
suggests fairly wide spread rainfall activity over east India during the next
2-3 days. Rain/thundershowers
are likely at a few places over the region J & K, Himachal Pradesh, .Uttarakhand,
Punjab, Haryana, Haryana, Delhi, western UP. Rain/thundershowers are likely at
many places over east UP, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal & Sikkim. Rain/
thundershowers are likely at many places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya
during the next 24 hours and at a few places thereafter. Rain/thundershowers are
