         The upper air cyclonic circulation over east Uttar Pradesh and neighbourhood is likely to persist and cause fairly widespread rainfall over east Uttar Pradesh and adjoining north Madhya Pradesh during the next 3 days. With the weakening of the off shore trough, rainfall activity is likely to decrease along west coast. However, south Gujarat region and Saurashtra may experience fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls for next 24 hours and decrease thereafter. Current meteorological conditions indicate subdued rainfall activity is likely to continue over interior peninsula for next 4-5 days. However, there is a possibility of increase in rainfall activity over parts of northwest India during 6-8 July.

         Rain/ thundershowers are likely at a few places over west Uttar Pradesh and isolated over the rest region. Rain/ thundershowers are likely at many places over east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim and at a few places over the rest region.
