Panaji: The names of more and more political leaders are being dragged into increasing cases of assaults involving foreign female nationals visiting Goa as tourists.

Aires Rodrigues, the counsel for the 14-year-old German girl who was allegedly assaulted by Rohit, son of Education Minister Atanasio Monserrate, early this month, told newsmen here Thursday that 22-year old Warren Alemao, nephew of public works minister Churchill Alemao, had also sexually assaulted the minor girl. He claimed he had informed the police also that photographs could be produced as proof of Warren's involvenment.

The disclosure has come at a time when the police headed by home minister Ravi Naik is already on the job of investigating an allegation that Churchill Alemao had also given shelter to Rohit, although Alemao has claimed that he had not seen Rohit for several months.

The victim's counsel Rodrigues said emails sent by Rohit to the German girl is in the custody of the police.
