Railway stations to have fool-proof security

Tirupathi (Andhra Pradesh): Railways Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday said that all railway stations will be upgraded with the latest security gadgets. "The people of the nation and everybody are on alert. I am introducing metal detectors, sniffer dogs and close circuit TVs in railways stations. We are getting full cooperation from the people and we will wipe out terrorism from India," Yadav said after offering prayers at the Tirumala Temple in Tirupati. Asked to comment on the Vande Mataram issue, Yadav said it should be a matter of personal choice. "Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi does not offer prayers to God, But Jayalalitha prays to God. This is a matter of personal choice," he added. The minister was presented with a silk cloth and offerings of Lord Venkateshwara.
