Thar Express to resume from Dec 23

       Lahore: Thar Express that connects Jodhpur in India to Karachi in Pakistan, would resume operation from December 23. The train had halted operation after rainwaters submerged the railway track earlier this year during the monsoons. Meanwhile, Samjhota Express, the train connecting Attari in India and Lahore in Pakistan, will run with Pakistan Railways coaches for the next six months from November 27. According to Indo-Pak agreement, Samjhota Express would run with Pakistani coaches and engine for six months and the next six months, with Indian engine and coaches.
