It's a girl for Brangelina

Washington: Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have become the proud parents of a baby girl. The baby Shiloh Nouvel Pitt-Jolie arrived on Saturday night in Namibia, according to a statement from Brad Pitt's publicist, repots Eonline. The girl is the third for Jolie, 30, who previously adopted tots from Cambodia and Ethiopia, respectively. Shiloh is a name of Hebrew origin meaning, "His gift," per thinkbabynames.com. It is also associated with an 1862 Civil War battle, and a Neil Diamond song about a desperately lonely childhood. (Diamond's imaginary friend, however, spelled his name "Shilo.") While Shiloh's parents have yet to marry, they are already entrenched in family life. In January, Jolie's two older children, Maddox and Zahara, formally added Pitt's surname to theirs. Pitt is in the process of becoming Maddox and Zahara's adoptive father.

Jamie may strip off for 'Playboy' again (Go To Top)

Washington: Jamie Pressly is considering making a 'Playboy' comeback, and grace the magazine's pages once again with her 'nude' pictures. The My Name Is Earl star stripped naked for the adult magazine in 2004, but later quit the modelling world to launch her successful acting career. Pressly, however, insists she has no regrets about baring her all, and may do it again, as she doesn't consider nudity some dirty thing". "I might do it (Playboy) again in the future. You know, we all have boobs and butts and you know every guy has the same thing too," Contactmusic quoted Pressly , as saying. "That's what's so great about European TV, movies and magazines - nudity is not hidden, and it's not some dirty thing. In America, you show a boob and it's a really big deal," she added.

Maria Cross bites her co-star's nose (Go To Top)

Washington: Desperate Housewives star Maria Cross it seems got a bit too violent on the sets of the hit tele serial while shooting for a crucial scene for the season finale. She bit her co-star's nose thinking that it would fit into the scene and would look good. But the producers weren't too happy with the act, and edited the scene out. "At the end of that scene... the way we shot it was when he came in really close I lunged up and bit his nose, which they cut. Maybe they thought it was just a little bit too vicious," Contactmusic, quoted her, as saying.

Sharon's night of passion at Cannes (Go To Top)

London: She may be just two years away from reaching the 50 mark, but Sharon Stone doesn't believe in letting age slow her down in the bedroom. "She had a big satisfied grin on her face", the Mirror quoted the observer, as saying.

Suit against J Lo dismissed  (Go To Top)

Washington: Vocalist Debra Laws has failed in her bid to sue Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J, as well as Sony Music, for alleged misappropriation of her best-selling song "Very Special" in their song "All I Have". The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in California said she simply did not have a case against Sony or the artistes. According to MTV news, the appeals court said Sony had obtained a license to use a 10-second segment of Laws' song in the recording. The suit filed by Laws was based on claims of invasion of privacy and violation of her right of publicity resulting from alleged misappropriation of her voice. The samples incorporated into "All I Have" included a 10-second segment at the beginning of Lopez' recording and shorter segments repeated in the background throughout the song. The appeals court said instead of J-Lo and L.L. Cool J, Laws may want to sue her publisher, Elektra/Asylum Records, for breach of contract for entering the license agreement without her authorization.
