Madonna is related to Camilla

Washington: It seems that Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is related to not one but two Queens, for not only is she the daughter-in-law to England's monarch, but is also a relative of the Queen of pop Madonna. According to genealogist William Addams Reitwiesner, the Prince Charles' wife and the iconic singer share an unusual French- Canadian ancestry that can be traced back to the 17th century, which makes them blood relatives. And it seems that Madonna is not the only famous celebrity that the Duchess is related to, for she also shares blood links with Canadian singer Celine Dion. "Camilla and Madonna are both descended from Zacharie Cloutier, who lived from 1617 to 1708. And Camilla and Celine descend from Jean Guyon, who lived from 1617 to 1708. Both Jean and Zacharie died in Chateau-Richer, Quebec. Because of their unusual French- Canadian ancestry, they are all blood relations. Madonna is absolutely fascinated by this," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

U2, Tina Turner favourites for Bond theme song (Go To Top)

London: The race is on to see who will be the one to record the theme song for the upcoming James Bond flick 'Casino Royale', and while most punters are putting their money on rock band U2, it seems that singing legend Tina Turner just might rain on Bono's parade. According to Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, who thinks that U2 would be perfect for the job, while bosses had decided on David Arnold being the one to compose the track, they were still waiting to choose the right person to perform the track. "I think U2 are great. Bono actually wrote the song for GoldenEye but Tina Turner performed it. David Arnold will be composing the soundtrack but we have not yet chosen who is doing the song," The Sun quoted her, as saying. However, a source said that the producers just might pick Turner in favour of U2, for they want Casino Royale to have a huge impact on Bond fans. "We want Casino Royale to have a huge impact so we want a big theme tune. Although it's not been decided yet, she's definitely high up on the wish list," the source said.

New Bond's rough, tough and gentle in bed! (Go To Top)

Washington: Sultry new Bond girl Caterina Murino has revealed that she enjoyed her love scenes with new 007 Daniel Craig so much, she is convinced he is the sexiest Bond yet. The beautiful brunette, who stars as Solange in the upcoming film Casino Royale, claims blonde Craig brings a fresh raw edge to the role of the gentleman spy. "He's very hot and when he kissed me it was incredibly sexy. It was fantastic! This is one side of Bond we never saw before," Murino was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying. "He can be very rough, very tough and very violent and then be gentle at the same time," she added.

Scarlett Johansson set to star in Nanny Diaries (Go To Top)
