Sean Connery 'fighting fit' after surgery (Go To Top)

     London: Veteran actor Sean Connery who underwent a surgery for getting a tumour removed from his kidney is recovering well at his home. "He's very fit, he's 100 percent plus, " Daily Mail quoted Connery's spokesman as saying. Connery played James Bond in seven films between 1962 and 1983 including "Dr. No" and "Diamonds Are Forever." Connery, an ardent Scottish nationalist, is scheduled to record a voiceover for a political program for the pro-independence Scottish National Party. He also plans to attend Tartan Day festivities in New York in April, party leader Alex Salmond said. "It is true that Sean had a successful procedure carried out some weeks ago but he's now fighting fit and raring to go - as is shown by his decision to attend some of the Tartan Day celebrations in New York."

     London: 'Star Wars' hero Hayden Christensen's ex girlfriend Lola is furious with British beauty Sienna Miller for stealing her man, for she feels that the 'Casanova' star should know better than to put another woman through the same trauma she underwent when her fianci Jude Law cheated on her. The 21-year old Lola, who has been with Christensen since she was 14, said that she felt betrayed by the two. "She knew exactly what Hayden and I meant to each other.     Washington: One of Hollywood's celebrity psychic's has revealed that superstar Marilyn Monroe has reportedly reached out to Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon with a piece of marital advice from beyond the grave to help her keep her marriage on track. Kenny Kingston said that during one of his conversations with the blonde beauty, she had told him to advice Witherspoon and her hubby actor Ryan Phillippe to use caution with their temperaments or their marriage would crumble like another of tinsel town's leading pairs - Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe. "We had a conversation about Reese and Ryan. She wanted me to pass on advice to them. Jessica Parker's 'Failure to Launch' tops box office (Go To Top)

     Washington: The romantic comedy teaming of Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker and hamdsome actor Matthew McConaughey, "Failure to Launch", claimed the top slot at the box office, after generating an estimated 24.6 million dollars over the last weekend. Failure to Launch tells a tale of exasperated parents who hire a woman (Parker) to get their philandering son (McConaughey) out of their house, with predictable results. Disney's "The Shaggy Dog" came in second with 16 million dollars, while director's Alexandre Aje update of Wes Craven's nuclear- powered 1977 frightfest "The Hills Have Eyes" earned 15.5 million dollars and took the third position, reports E!Online. Last weekend's runner-up, Bruce Willis' cop caper 16 Blocks earned 7.3 million dollars, dropping to fourth place, followed by the PG-13 Lionsgate release, "Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion", which rounded off the top five after doing a business of 5.8 million dollars during the last weekend.

     Washington: The OC star Adam Brody has confessed he almost puked on co-star and real life love Rachel Bilson, while shooting a kissing scene with her. The 26-year old star had to film the smooch hanging upside down in a Spiderman pose, and the suspended actor apparently had a tough time shooting the sequence, as it was hard to stomach. "I know it's gross but it was because I was hanging upside down for so long that it made me nauseous," TV.com quoted him, as saying.
