Mumbai: Pravin Mahajan, who is in judicial custody for the killing of his elder brother and BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, today said that the incidents in Mumbai and in Delhi (Rahul Mahajan drug overdose case) are interrelated, adding a whole new twist and mystery to the Mahajan saga. Coming out of court, Pravin said:"Both incidents are interrelated and the Delhi and Mumbai Police should work in tandem to bring out the truth". He further said that "this was going on for last five to six years" and that "Rahul is being made scapegoat". Wishing his nephew Rahul on his birthday today, Pravin said: "I would be happy to serve Rahul's sentence". Not commenting on Bibek Moitra's alleged role of snorting drugs, Pravin said: "I would not like to say anything about someone who is already dead, but investigation should be done on those who are still alive". Meanwhile, Pravin's judicial custody has been extended till June 28. Pravin was earlier produced before a local court here today. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate P L Waghmare asked Pravin about his health condition to which he replied that being a diabetic patient, he was also suffering from blood pressure.
