Nicole
Kidman may marry in March (Go
                      To Top)
                         London:
Love is in the air for actress Nicole Kidman these days
as the Aussie beauty is reportedly getting set to tie the
knot with beau Keith Urban in March this year. According
to a source close to the actress, Kidman is ecstatic over
the engagement and is already preparing the guest list which
includes only family and close friends. "Nicole is getting
married in March. She's the happiest she's ever been in
her life and doesn't want a long engagement. Keith proposed
at Christmas and she was thrilled. They're happy and in
love. Nicole's only inviting close friends and family she
doesn't want a media circus. They're discussing venues and
are talking about doing it in Australia," The Sun quoted
the source, as saying. The source also insisted that Nicole's
early wedding did not mean that she was trying to beat ex-hubby
Tom Cruise in the race to the altar. "Nicole isn't in any
race. She's on very friendly terms with Tom because they
have children. She's quite simply extremely happy and just
wants to be married to Keith. Their parents met and got
along and Nicole's buzzing with excitement," the source
                      added.

Shane Warne is now a TV soap star (Go
                      To Top)
                        London:
Aussie spin wizard Shane Warne is all set to don the
grease paint for his acting debut in the TV soap, 'Neighbours'.
The 36-year-old Warne will appear as himself, in a storyline
believed to involve his charity, the Shane Warne Foundation.
Neighbours executive producer Ric Pellizzeri said he was
thrilled to have the spin bowler make an appearance in Australia's
most famous soap. "The cast and crew are incredibly excited
to be working with one of Australia's great sportsmen,"
The Mirror quoted Pellizzeri as saying. The report further
said that producers have been in talks with Warne to join
Ramsay Street since before Christmas. As of now, Warne will
spend one day filming his role in the next few weeks, with
the episode being telecast in the UK in autumn after its
                      July broadcast in Australia.

'Brokeback Mountain' wins PGA Best Picture
                      prize (Go
                      To Top)
                        Washington:
Ang Lee's love-struck flick, 'Brokeback Mountain', has
confirmed its status as a strong contender in the Oscar
nomination by winning the Best Picture prize at the 2006
Producers Guild of America Awards on 22 January in Los Angeles.
The award, known as the Golden Laurel, was collected by
Brokeback producers James Schamus and Diana Ossana. The
film, which stars Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal as two
lonely ranch hands who initiate a secret love affair, came
away as best film, beating out challengers like 'Crash',
'Capote', 'Good Night, and Good Luck', and 'Walk the Line',
reports E!Online. The PGA's are usually considered a strong
Oscar indicator, however, last year they went on to choose
'The Aviator' as best film, while the Academy chose 'Million
Dollar Baby'. However, with 'Brokeback' topping the Golden
Globes and earning Best Picture kudos from the New York
Film Critics Circle, the Broadcast Film Critics and the
Los Angeles Film Critics, the odds seem strong that Oscar
and the PGA may line up.

Hatcher may be the next Bond baddie (Go

                        Washington:
The last time Teri Hatcher starred in a James Bond movie,
she played the suave super agent's long lost love. However,
if the 'Desperate Housewives' star agrees to act in the
upcoming Bond film 'Casino Royale' she will be seen in a
very different role - that of the vamp. Hatcher, who played
Bond's lady love in 'Tomorrow Never Dies', is thrilled with
the opportunity to change her 'good girl' image, and is
waiting to read the script of the new movie before she decides
whether or not to sign the dotted line. "I think it's great
that I can be bad, even if it's just on screen. I'll leave
an open mind until I see the script," Moviehole.net quoted
                      her, as saying.

Drew Barrymore digs men who stir her
                      intellect (Go
                      To Top)
                        Washington:
'Charlie's Angels' star Drew Barrymore has revealed
that when it comes to finding love, she's only interested
in men who can inspire her to be more intelligent and artistic.
Barrymore, who has been dating 'The Strokes' drummer Fabrizio
Moretti, puts great value on the person, and thinks that
the inside matters more than looks. "Not to put anybody
down, but I think my past lovers have been unique-looking.
It's about what's on the inside. If you're with someone
who's beautiful but dumb, would it last? I want someone
funky and interesting, who makes me strive to be more intelligent
and artistic," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
