                    'Rawalpindi
Express' runs on shoes costing Rs 53,000
                       Lahore:
The "Rawalpindi Express" of the cricketing world runs
on a pair of shoes worth Rs 53,000! Yes, Pakistani fast
bowler Shoaib Akhtar has got specially designed bowling
boots made for himself in order to avoid the frequent ankle
injuries from which he had been regularly suffering over
the past couple of years. At any given point of time, he
carries as many as five pairs of shoes with him whether
playing Test or an ODI, The News reported. The fast bowler
has been facing problems in the landing zone and with his
ankle. He is currently playing with a bruised ankle caused
by the heavy load and pressure he puts on his feet in his
follow through which is why the special boots have been
designed to ensure he does not face a serious fitness problem.
Shoaib played in the one-day series against England with
a bruised ankle, which is strapped regularly to ensure it
does not get worse, it added. He made a comeback to the
Pakistan team with a big bang against England taking 17
                      Test wickets.
