Gibson's kids terrorise neighborhoods (Go To Top)

New York: It seems Hollywood actor Mel Gibson's neighbors are horrified with his kids, for the locals have branded them as the 'terrors of Malibu'. Gibson's neighbors were particularly pissed after the actor and his wife, Robyn, let some of their seven children roam the beach suburb absolutely unsupervised, where they apparently created havoc. One local told the New York Post that Gibson's kids, a daughter, 26, and six sons ranging in age from 7 to 24, "are the holy terrors of Malibu. They do whatever they want". According to a story repeated by neighbors, Gibson's high-school sons tried to buy two kayaks from a surf shop and demanded the store put them on credit. But after they were refused credit by the store, the kids reportedly threw a fit. "They got very angry and started shouting, 'Don't you know who we are?'" the kids said. However, staffers at Zuma Jay's and the Malibu Surf Shack, the two kayak stores in Malibu, said that they don't recall any such incident.

6th Potter film in Nov, 08 (Go To Top)

Washington: Harry Potter's fans have finally received the announcement they have been patiently waiting for. Warner Brothers have announced that the 6th installment of the enormously popular fantasy series will hit theaters on November 21, 2008. According to E!online, the 6th film in the series titled 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' will coincide with Thanksgiving celebrations, and the production house is hoping that it will rope in millions just like the earlier Potter flicks. Though it's a rather long wait for Potter fans to watch the 6th saga, the 5th film 'Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix' will hit the theatres in July 2007. Presumably the core players in the Potter films, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, will return as, respectively, Harry, Ron and Hermione for the 6th film in the series. The 672-page Half-Blood Prince hit shelves last summer and sold a whopping 6.9 million copies its first day in U.S. bookstores. The story, which picks up with Harry in his sixth year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, focuses on the crisis Lord Voldemort and his followers pose as they challenge the authority of the Ministry of Magic. At the same time, Harry struggles to determine the identity of the half-blood prince, the mysterious owner of a book of magic that aids him as he discovers more details about Voldemort's dark past.

Potter villain praises his co-stars' humility (Go To Top)

Washington: British actor Jason Isaac has applauded his young Harry Potter movie co-stars for remaining humble and polite despite the media madness around them. Isaacs, who plays villainous Lucious Malfoy in the fantasy saga, admits he could forgive Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint for being brats because they're often treated like "the second coming of Christ" by Potter fans. But, instead, the trio remain pleasant and accessible to their fans. "They are the same enthusiastic people that they were when I first started. "I bring my friends' kids and my kids on set because they're all dying to visit Hogwarts (fictitious Potter school)," Isaacs was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying. "Obviously they're desperate for a minute with Daniel, Emma and Rupert, and they always find the time. "You can only put it down to their nature. Initially, it was their parents' guidance," he added.

James Bond wears Sunspel undies (Go To Top)

Washington: New 007 star Daniel Craig will show- off his Sunspel underpants in the upcoming 'James Bond' film, after the British underwear company won the contract to outfit the 007 star in new movie 'Casino Royale'. Sunspel, who count Johnny Depp among their fans, introduced the sexy boxers to Britain in 1947. The underwear was first made famous after model Nick Kamen stripped off in the 1985 Levi's ad and have been a style must- have for men ever since. Company officials are extremely excited to bag the contract, and are looking forward for films' release. "This is a major deal for us so everyone is really excited. There's a lot of interest in the film so we know there's going to be a lot of interest in Sunspel"; Contactmusic quoted a Sunspel spokeswoman, as saying.

Aniston weddding plan crashes (Go To Top)

London: Jennifer Aniston, who had expected her relationship with actor Vince Vaughn to culminate into marriage one day, has reportedly been left heartbroken after the couple's rumoured wedding plans crashed. According to Femalefirst, the actress, who has been dating her 'Break Up' co-star for a year, had her hopes of a wedding dashed when the Wedding Crasher star ruled out the prospect of them ever tying the knot. Following a romantic Mexican break, Vaughn has reportedly distanced himself from the 37 year old ex-wife of Brad Pitt. "Talk of marriage or engagement is complete hogwash. Vince appears to have gone distant, and Jen is looking no further than a day at a time. There have been rumours of an engagement, even claims they married in secret. But those stories are without foundation," a source told Britain's Star magazine. "Jen expected so much from this relationship but they are struggling to overcome these problems," the source added. Now with Vince shooting in South Dakota and Jen living in Los Angeles, it's apparent that the pair are spending most of their time apart. "After everything Jen has been through, she feels let down that Vince hasn't yet - after all this time - made his mind up about her," said the source.

K-Fed admits marital problems (Go To Top)

Washington: While rumours of star couple Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's marriage going through rough patches have already been making the rounds, the aspiring rapper's recent confession certainly adds some weight to the stories. Federline, 28, has finally admitted that his marriage to his pop star wife needs work, ahead of the birth of their second child next month. He further insisted that their union is far from perfect, as they hardly spend time together due to their busy schedules. "It's definitely going to be hard. It'll have to be worked at, but that's every relationship," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. The news of Spears having marital problems first hit the newspapers' headlines, after the couple's first baby, Sean Preston was born in September last year. She accused her dancer hubby of partying out till wee hours and not helping her in raising their infant son.

Michael Douglas vows to keep his bum covered

London: Michael Douglas has a disappointing news for his fans. The veteran actor has vowed to cover up his famous bottom. The 61 year old Basic Instinct actor, who has bared his cheeks in nearly 10 movies, including 'Basic Instinct I' - wearing nothing but a V-neck sweater - 'Disclosure' and 'Fatal Attraction,' has decided to quit baring his backside in his forthcoming movies. "I've dropped my pants for the last time. I was never going to do the sequel anyway," The Mirror quoted the 61 year old husband of Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, as saying. Almost half of Douglas, a former sex-addict, involve him in a sex scene, and during his 90s heyday he even became infamous for refusing a body double. Comic Sandra Bern-hard said of his 1992 hit Basic Instinct bum- baring, "That was offensive."

Hefner wants Kidman to strip for Playboy (Go To Top)

Washington: Playboy boss Hugh Hefner is so enamored by Hollywood beauty Nicole Kidman that he wants her to strip for the cover of his sexy men's magazine. Hefner has been "bewitched" by her ever since he saw her perform in the stage-play The Blue Room. The magazine mogul fell for the Australian beauty's charms when she appeared nude on Broadway in 1999, with a performance that was described by critics as "theatrical Viagra". "(Kidman)'s bewitching, and the vision of her with a cigarette in one hand and her knickers in the other as a delicious French au pair will haunt my fantasies for months," he was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying. "I better add, she's a terrific actress," he added.

Most men want Brad Pitt's body  (Go To Top)

London: If you thought that only women are worried to death about their appearance think again, as men are becoming just as worried as women about how they look, with nine out of ten being unhappy with their bodies. And blokes feeling the pressure to look trim say they want to look like Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt. Almost half of men admitted dieting in the survey of 3,000 by Men's Fitness magazine. One in ten admitted trying controversial slimming pills to shed the pounds. Two-thirds of the blokes asked said they wanted a flatter stomach. "Men seemed to be particularly worried about their waists," Michael Donlevy, the magazine's deputy editor, was quoted by the Daily Mail, as saying. "Thinness equals youth and as we live longer we want to look younger. Men pick up their girlfriends' and wives' magazines and see the pressure that they are under. It has really grown over the last decade," he added. Experts have warned that an increasing number of men are succumbing to eating disorders, and it's women's fault. Phillip Hodson, of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, said women's success at work means men have to work harder to succeed.
