London:
Prince Harry's girlfriend Chelsy Davy has reportedly
been snubbed by the British royal family who have left her
off their Christmas party list, while Prince William's girlfriend
Kate Middleton will be a royal guest. Queen Elizabeth is
said to have asked Kate to Sandringham for the first time
and she will stay overnight before taking part in the traditional
Boxing Day pheasant shoot with the Queen, Prince Philip
and Prince Charles, reports the Sun. William will then drive
from the Norfolk estate to Berkshire to visit 23-year-old
Kate's parents, Michael and Carole, at their home. Author
Ingrid Seward, who wrote the biography 'William And Harry',
said Kate's invitation was very significant. "I think she
and William are in a serious relationship but nobody's rushing
to marriage. The royals share lots of in-jokes nobody else
understands and talk about people nobody else knows. Then
there is Prince Edward, who always runs some ghastly disco,"
she was quoted by Femalefirst,as saying. "It is a sign you
are entering the inner circle and Kate going this year is
certainly an official acceptance of her position, importance
and role in William's life," she added.

sonogram test may put his baby at risk (Go

Washington:
Tom Cruise has been slammed by health experts for buying
a sonogram machin to keep a track of his baby's development
inside fiancee Katie Holmes. The actor has been criticised
by officials at the American College of Radiology (ACR)
for putting the unborn child at risk by purchasing the device.
The ACR has warned that Cruise has been badly advised regarding
the use and potential abuse of ultrasound, and that he could
be breaking the law if he's carrying out the scans himself.
"This is a patient safety issue. Untrained people, even
if they have the financial means, should not buy, or be
allowed to buy and operate, ultrasound machines which are,
in fact, medical devices and should not be used without
a medical indication," Contactmusic quoted DR Carol M Rumack
of the ACR Ultrasound Commission as saying. "Images of the
foetus are an opportunity to diagnose problems before birth
that may require treatment. These images should be obtained
by certified technologists under the supervision of physicians
properly trained in ultrasound," he added.

Washignton:
As soon as you hear 'dum de-de dum dum dum', you get
to know that it is James Bond's theme music, but did you
know that the tune was originally written for a Bollywood
flick? Composer Monty Norman revealed that he had composed
the tune for a musical version of VS Naipaul's novel 'A
House for Mr. Biswas', but the project fell through and
he was hired to compose the music for 1961 bond film 'Dr.
No.' "People recognise the Bond theme as soon as they hear
'dum de-de dum dum dum'. But I wrote it for an Asian musical,
A HOUSE FOR MR BISWAS. When I was approached to write the
music to DR NO, I split up the notes and the tune took on
a more sinister sound. The rest of the melody followed almost
naturally," Contactmusic quoted Norman as saying. The original,
called 'Good Sign, Bad Sign', will feature on Norman's new
album 'Completing The Circle'.
