Mumbai: The Bollywood glitterati attended the music release of the comedy film 'Daddy Cool' at a function held here. The cast and the crew of the film were present during the occasion. The film has been produced by Indra Kumar and directed by K Murali Mohan Rao. 'Daddy Cool' is a story of guy terrified by his sweetheart's father makes matters hilariously worse by taking a drug that alters his state of mind. The film stars Sunil Shetty, Aarti Chhabria, Ashish Chowdhry, Tulip Joshi, Aftab Shivdasani, Javed Jaffrey, Kim Sharma, Sophie Choudry, Rajpal Yadav and Chunky Pandey. While speaking to the media, Sophie Choudry said, "It's a comedy film. Every character has their role to play. So it was a cool experience shooting it and even cooler watching it." Aftab Shivdasani hopes that the film works. "Every film is made differently from another film. Even in this film, we have tried that it works as a film and not that it's a comedy or drama. We hope that this film does well," said Shivdasani. Raghav Sachar has rendered music of the film. The film is slated for an August 28 release.
